Growing so fast!!!

I finally caught it on camera!!!

11 Months!!!

Here is Alixander enjoying his new toy! So fun to watch him figure it out and move it around. Very different from even a month ago! We havent been back to the doctor yet so dont know his height and weight though I think he has grown taller :) Same amount of teeth, no real physical changes in the past month but ton of mental ones! He can do so many more things than last month and is getting very good at standing on his own! Very hard to believe he is almost a year old!!!

My Balloon

Here is Alixander's first balloon...well first one hes gotten to play with :) He loved tugging on the string, once he figured out how it worked, and watching the balloon move! It is almost as big as he is and he enjoys watching it move and loves the sound it makes when he hits it or runs his hand down it so it squeaks! So adorable to see him get so excited about the simplest things that we take for granted!

A day in the life of Alixander Grant

First, we have to let the dogs out...and make sure that if the run away, we see where they went...

Gotta get dressed up in my brand new blue jeans (yes, its cold enough for pants here) :(

Going exploring outside is one of my favorite things to do now that Im not terrified of the feeling of grass!
Always love reading books, especially before bed!

New Shoes, New Tricks and New Pics

Xander got his first pair of "big boy" shoes today (size 4!!) and learned how to drink from a straw! And we put in a few more pics of him lately. He loves looking out the window with the dog, just checking out whatevers out there :)

10 Months Old!!!!!!

Alixander is a whole 10 months old now! So hard to believe! He LOVES to talk and be loud and will converse with anyone willing to listen. He is becoming very adept and standing and moving around with help, and beginning to stand on his own! Won't be long before hes running around for good!

He weighs 27 pounds and is 30 inches tall! He currently has 6 teeth but has 2 more through but not enough to see. He love to explore and decided to try and climb the hill behind our house yesterday. (For those of you who have been here, you know wat a task that is!!!!) Needless to say he ended up toppling down to Mom's legs who was close behind! He still enjoys playing with his dogs and thinks people counting the fish in his tank is very funny.

He has a great personality! He thinks its a good idea to crawl away from Mom as fast as he can when she is getting him in trouble or trying to dress him! It is quite funny...He has also started giving us the stuff he gets in trouble for having and acting like that was his intention all along :)

Mommy being brave...

Today Mommy was very brave and gave Alixander a spoon and a bowl of mashed potatoes and let him go to town. Needless to say, more potatoes ended up on his body than in his belly but he sure had a great time trying to figure it all out! He knows what the spoon is supposed to do, just hasn't figured out how to get the food on there yet!
