Baby # 2

We are very excited to announce that Alixander will be a big brother on or around the 27th of February 2012!! Is too early to know any of the specifics but we are looking forward to our next adventure, boy or girl :)

July 2011 - Tahoe

The last weekend in July found us in North Lake Tahoe, California. We were celebrating my grandparents anniversary and my cousin's wedding with a family reunion. We had a great time enjoying a lake-view cabin and visiting the beach! Alixander had a great time hanging out with his cousins Zach (almost 4) and Landon (2) and Zoe (7months). Here are some of the pictures we have! The pictures at the end are Alixander showing off his beach moves ;)

July 2011 - Illinois

In June Josh and Alixander took a trip to Illinois to visit his family. Here are some of the few pictures Daddy took while there :) The pictures are Xander on the airplane, Xander with his cousins (Erica, Alexander, Isaiah, and Hannah), with his new cousin Delaney, and driving with his other cousin Jake. He also enjoyed a fishing trip, swimming in the lake and catching fireflies.

June 2011

June was a not so many pictures month! We did teach Xander a new trick though :)

May 2011

I am waaaaay behind on Alixander's pictures! Here are some random pictures from the month of May :) We did go visit Great-Great Grandma Davis for Mothers Day and Great Grandma and Grandpa Anderson met us there for the weekend.

Easter Egg Hunt

Here are some pictures of Alixander's first egg hunt! They sponsored it on base and he had a great time! Was extremely hot...in the 80s...but he had on enough sunscreen to last the rest of his life :)

Well I think I have covered most of the major events since Christmas! I do have videos to post this week of all the new things Xander is learning and doing :) but hope you enjoy all the pictures! Will have pictures of our new house up this week as well!

Karleigh

Here is the newest member of our family...Karleigh. She is a German Shepherd, black and red markings. She is 4months old now and weighs 50lbs. She is fitting in well with Lizl and Xander thinks its lots of fun chasing them both around the house and the yard!

Welcome Home Daddy!

Life According to Alixander

So as Alixander grows he is becoming very outgoing and rational about life. Here are some of the sayings he has come up with lately: - Talking to a vet at Daddy's softball game - Vet:" Hi there son, do you like playing baseball?" Xander - "Me no son, me Alixander. My Daddy playin baseball now. My Mommy said no to me. She say me too little!" - After sitting in his room for half an hour for being naughty and grumpy - "Mommy me no crying anymore, me very happy now...see my happy face, and Im dancing..see." - Me: "Alixander why do you have a sad face?" Xander: "No sad face Mommy, me have a sad lip" :)-Watching golf with Daddy - (when the ball goes in) "Yay! Look Daddy he did it" *fist pump* - (when it doesnt) "Ah man...he just couldnt do it..."- "No thanks you Mommy, me not tired right now, thank you though." (After I put him in his bed for a nap) "But Mommy, me said no thank you for a nap!" :) Will be posting more Im sure as his mind keeps thinking up new and exciting things to keep Mom and Dad busy! More pictures to come as well now that I found where they got hidden on the computer!
