California Birthday

We also had a birthday party for Alixander while we were in California and those pictures didnt make it to that blog! So here they are :) We enjoyed a lot of fun with most of our family from there. Alixander, Zach (3), and Landen (1) had a great time playing with trains and cars and bubbles and sprinklers :) We were having too much fun at the party to be bothered with eating cake so we had some later at Grandma and Grandpas house!

Alixander bowling

We had a great time at Xander's bowling party. Here is him bowling for the first time! He loved pushing the ball down and then running to watch for it to come back out of the machine. He actually did pretty well...got two spares all on his own!

Catching Up...

WOW!!! It seems like September just flew by! Here are some pictures to help catch everyone up on what weve been doing! We went to the Zoo a few times and had a couple of pool days :) We also flew out to California and visited Grandma and Grandpa Anderson (who are now "ma" and "papa" to Xander lol) for almost 2 weeks. We went to Six Flags there with our cousins Zach, Tara and Jason, visited Train Town in Sonoma with my cousin Sus, went kayaking in Sonora with our Aunt Karen and Sus and had a great time lounging around and hanging out!

Giraffes

Here is a video of Xander and Grandpa feeding the giraffe at the zoo...Xander was very excited about it and talked about feeding giraffes leaves for days!

Labor Day

We enjoyed our Labor Day morning by visiting the Montgomery Zoo and Mann Museum. We enjoyed a full 4hours of animals and displays! Here are some of the pictures :)

School/Air Park

Here are some pictures from Alixander on his way to "school" :) There are also some pictures from our trip to the air park here on base this weekend! He was very excited to tell everyone that he touched the wheels on the planes :)

PAINT!

Here are some more pictures of Alixander fingerpainting... he got more paint on himself than the paper but he has fun (and its washable) so it doesnt really matter :)

Alixanders New Room

Here are some pictures of Alixander's first big boy room :) He loves being able to play and run around free in there...which normally includes dumping out all of the toy containers and playing with two toys :) The map on the wall shows all of the animals of the world (well within reason) and his favorites so far are...you guessed it...the fish :)

Playing outside...

Alixander and I spent a few days with a friend of mine who lives on a little farm in Iowa. Shes getting married in a few weeks so we were helping her and her family get the place ready! Xander loved playing outside and helping work and swimming and LOVED watching the horses (from far away)!
