Beach Day!!!!

Here are the pictures from the beach in North Carolina. Xander had a lot of fun but wasn't so sure about the waves! The seagulls loved following him around (as you can see in the second picture) because he was normally carrying at least one goldfish cracker. Seagulls love goldfish crackers lol!

Marbles Children's Museum

We visited the Marbles Children's Museum in Raleigh, NC today. It was an awesome museum that Alixander enjoyed to the fullest! They have a child-sized boat, firetruck, ambulance, submarine and pirate ship! They also have pretend gardens, kitchens and shops as well as a splash zone and train tables. The upstairs is all about moving and playing and has areas for kids to construct, learn about money and invent things. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Raleigh area!

Goldsborough Historical Museum

We toured a local history museum that consisted of historical buildings from the area moved to one location and restored. During the summer they use them as a living history exhibit but when we were there it was just the buildings. Of course, Xander was more interested in the birds and the cats but the exhibits were cool for Mom and Aunt Kimberly :) The pictures are of Alixander in the old school house, the old print shop, an artifact museum and him with the kitten following (it followed us to every building).

New Bern, NC

Here are some pics from our trip to New Bern, NC. We visited the New Bern Fireman's Museum, Tryon Palace and the birthplace of Pepsi. We also drove to Aurora, NC and went through a fossil museum.

Playing Outside

We have had lots of fun playing outside because the weather is so nice in the evenings! Here are some more outside pics of Xander and Uncle Landon and Chloe :)

North Carolina

Well Alixander and I finally made it to North Carolina...through trucks breaking down, rain, fog, mountains, wind, traffic and construction. Here are some pics of the first two days here!
