A Day With Mom and Dad

We had a lazy day today just hanging out...here are some pics of playtime today :)

5 Months....and a few days... :)

Xander turned 5 months the 11th...so hard to believe he is growing so fast! He can flip from his tummy to his back and his back to his tummy...can situp in a tripod type pose (one hand down)...he reaches for everything and explores it before sticking it in his mouth :)... he can get onto his knees and try to crawl but hasnt quite figured out that his arms are supposed to move too... :) but soon I am sure! We found out he definitely does not like peas and is indifferent to applesauce...still loves his veggies :) He weighs 20lbs and is 26inches long! Still loves his baths and has fun splashing water around and trying to eat the soap bubbles :) He is sleeping through the night now...goes to bed around 630 and generally wakes up to eat around 6am then sleeps til about 730am before hes up for the day....makes Mom and Dad very happy :) All day long he talks and laughs and smiles, he truely is a joy and a blessing!!!!

Here is a video showing his one track mind, once he has decided to figure something out he is very focused on that task...and yes the bubbles are popping on his head :) Makes for some good laughs!!

Growing up is hard work.....

This is what we found after folding laundry for 10 minutes in the bedroom...from a bouncing talking baby to....snoring and drooling :) Pretty hilarious if you ask me...Josh says we found him "sleeping on post"

The Wonderful World of Food!!!

Alixander has been very enthusiastically eating baby veggies for about three weeks now. We introduce one veggie at a time and he eats that one for about a week. Here are some pics from our excursion into vegetables :)

First: Carrots....

Then Squash...which was definitely his favorite so far!!!


















and most recently Sweet Potatoes...dont let the spoon fool you I was lucky to get the shot! The food ended up all over his face :)

4 Whole Months!!!

Xander is four months old today! He is learning new things so quickly it is hard to keep up! He is almost sitting on his own now. He can for quite a while as long as nothing interesting cathes his eye that he wants to turn and look at :) Here are a few pictures of the new things he has been doing...
