Welcome 2009!!!

So here we are starting another year. Xander is 2 1/2 months old. He is 24" long and weighs 15lbs. He has started to talk and likes to hold conversations with anyone that will listen. He can roll from his tummy to his back and tries to roll the other way but cant qiute make it there yet. He can scootch forward on his tummy with his feet. He kind of looks like he is mountain climbing up the floor ;) His sleep at night is improving, finally :) and we are getting around 6-7 hours in a row at night. Overall he normally sleeps from 730 pm to 8am. Everyday continues to bring something new and exciting that he is doing and we love being able to watch him grow and learn. This next year is sure to bring multitudes of changes and exciting moments and we are looking forward to them all!!!

Christmas Through My Eyes...

My very first Christmas was really exciting!!

First, on Christmas Eve I opened my very first Christmas present, with Daddy's help..

Then I got dressed in my new PJs...a crazy santa suit that Grandpa bought. Daddy was very excited....

On Christmas morning I woke up early... 7 a.m. and got to laugh at Daddy playing with my Christmas gifts for me...

I lasted a whole hour before the excitement got to me.....

After my nap I was refreshed and rejuvenated and ready to play again!!!

Christmas is so much fun!!!

and that a little nakedness never hurt nobody...!!

Heres To You...

As the holiday season gets closer we take the time to realize how much our family and friends mean to us. We never have the time, and sometimes never get the chance to say "Thank you" for all of the prayers, thoughts, deeds, and support we have been given this year and the many previous. This year especially we have seen how important family is and have become, at least in our eyes, not only a stronger family but best friends. So to everyone who has been there for us and continues to be... Our wish for you and your families; a peaceful holiday season and a very blessed 2009!!!

8 weeks...

Here I am at 8 weeks old at my cousin Whitney's wedding in California. Mommy and I flew out and had a great time visiting all my grandparents and cousins for a week! I enjoyed the weather and found out that I am a happy morning person! More pictures to come when I give Mommy a few minutes to put them all together :)

Ohhh..... so I forgot to tell you about my new chair!!! This chair was my Momma Caffy's and I love to sit in it by myself. I like to rock in it while watchin Baby Einstien and football with my Daddy!

Seven Weeks & Growing...

We had a great time at Grandpa's this past week! We stopped and saw Daddy's family for Thanksgiving too and are finally home. I am rolling from my stomach to my back now almost every time I get tummy time. I don't like napping very much anymore but love to sleep when I am being rocked and cuddled. I am flying for my first time ever to California this coming weekend so stay tuned for more pictures!!!
