We went to see the midwife today for our weekly appointment; we are 4 days overdue. She said that things are progressing but kind of slowly so far. We are hoping that by walking and with a few more days Xander will help the process along but not sure how long it will take. They've decided that if he is not here by Monday we will start the induction process.
They have a few methods we are going to try to try and start labor without drugs so if we have to go that route hopefully they work. May not be comfortable but we want to avoid drugs if at all possible. If that doesn't work the drugs are the only option besides a c-section. Please keep us in your thoughts and hopefully it all works out well. We are still hoping that baby will decide to come on his own.
We will keep everyone informed as we know more... In any event, we will have our baby here by Tuesday!!!

Outside Looking In....
"Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers the little things, long after you have forgotten everything."
Here is the link to our 9 month pictures :) Josh and I got them done by a local photographer who was looking for people to model for his studio. He will also be doing Alixander's first pictures once he arrives. I think they turned out amazing, though I know I am biased :) We had a ton of fun doing them and having some of our pose ideas turn out just as good as the photographers :) We just wanted to share with all of you this part of our journey and the incredible talents of the photographer. :) Let us know what you think!!!
Go to... studiohphotography.net then click the Great Expectations picture. On the top right you will see a Proofs link, click that. The password to our pictures is Denniston. You do have to capitalize the D. Hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

8 Months and Counting....
"The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering."
On the 8th of August we were able to present a check for $25,000 to Blessing Hospital in my Mom's memory. The funds were donated from the National Breast Cancer Foundation and everything was made possible through my Aunt Pam, Uncle Daljit and cousin Tara. It was an amazing experience and I know my Mom would be so amazed that her memory is still touching so many people and that her story is allowing so many women to get treatment and help they need!

7 Months....
in California with
Great-Grandma Davis.
We visited the beach
and the aquarium,
went swimming
(more like lounging
on a floatee) :)
and saw all of the family
for Grandma's 90th
b-day party and a
baby shower for Alixander
He is about 2.5 lbs and 15"
He can see in color, but his
vision is extremely blurry.
He is constantly exercising
and getting ready to drive
us crazy with his energy :)
